excellent salad bar with everything including halved boiled eggs and tuna salad. the meats and vegetables are delicious with homemade salsas and grilled jalapenos.

Haven't been here since shortly after Don Parks passed away because we moved to Ga.. Back in area for visit so decided to stop. OMG! Awful. Bland, bland food. Butterbeans were in water and crunchy. Cabbage had no seasoning. 2 wings and 2 legs were the chicken choice. Cornbread was sugar sweet. Cant believe the Parks family allows their good name to be on this place. Ate here weekly from 1981-2015. Never again. Now know why I was there Sunday lunch and hardly anyone else there.

This is a restaurant I haven't been to In quite a long time. Decided to give it another try. They had a Buffet open and it had a pretty good assortment of different dishes and food. Several of the dishes it would have been nice if they had been hotter. They were warm but not really the temperature I would have preferred. Service was okay and you can see that a lot of older long-term residents were probably loyal patrons here. Didn't see the price posted anywhere for the cost of the buffet and was kind of surprised to see that it was about $15 when we paid. Didn't expect that kind of a price for lunch for what it was but we were full

A local staple that is definitely worth a 2nd visit. Wasn't the best meal ever but good variety and hot/fresh food. Service was friendly and helpful.

Sadly this place has gone down hill, food was cold. Everything was extremely salty and very greasy. The service was not attentive, they served everyone else bread and drinks but kept passing us up.

If you are looking for a country style cooking buffet and ambiance, this mom and pop place is it. The food is as fresh as home cooked meals, and so delicious and fulfilling. I highly recommend the chicken and rice soup, mashed potatoes, and rotisserie chicken. They were so full of flavor!
